Functional Medicine Physicians have been sounding the alarm for years about the need to address root causes of preventable disease instead of chasing symptoms with medications. 90% of us have Insulin Resistance which is our body’s scream of warning for pre-diabetes. 1 in 5 of us has Metabolic syndrome, a cluster of cardiometabolic risk factors associated with increased risk of multiple chronic diseases, including cancer and cardiovascular disease. This is cellular Damage.

About 21 million adults have experienced a Major Depressive Episode while over 40 million experience Anxiety disorders. This is Discontent.

Loneliness and social isolation increase the risk for premature death by 26% and 29% respectively. This is Detachment.

Stress is often seen as a problem outside of us, but I believe it is the result of our habits, choices, and how we react to our surroundings, including our diet and feeling of connection. I used to think health was just about weight and diets. As long as my clothes fit and I wasn’t sick, I felt healthy. That changed when I heard the word “cancer.” The two weeks between hearing that word and receiving my surgery results (it was a PUNLMP tumor, as close to benign as you can get!) were life-changing and shifted my views on health, priorities, and purpose. I became more honest with myself, took charge of my lifestyle, and built confidence to change. Our daily habits greatly affect our health, and I want to help others learn, gain new perspectives, and see new possibilities around their habits and patterns. I created Stress Rehab to help others build the confidence to change and avoid hearing the word “cancer.”

With 30 years experience in Mental Health, I provide Therapeutic Stress Coaching, focusing on stress as a major health issue. Recovery means understanding how our choices affect our health and building the confidence to change. My approach combines my skills as a Therapist, Certified Health Coach, Reiki Master, and Ayurvedic Practitioner and is tailored to meet your individual needs.

  • I’m not sure how she does it, but Michelle was able to put things into words that I have been struggling to express for a long time. She has an organizational gift that allowed me to see myself and my issues in a new way and opened up my mind to various possibilities for myself that I had never considered. I am so grateful !

  • I had no idea how my thoughts were impacting how I was feeling and affecting my daily behaviors. I knew I was stressed but I felt stuck and really did not think there was anything that I could do about it. I learned that changing my mindset helped me feel better and less stressed

  • My coaching experience was so beneficial for my growth as I transitioned into a new phase of my life. Our coaching sessions really helped me get through a phase of learning about my past and how to confront the reality of information that I was about to learn and work through my emotions. She helped me to feel confident which ended up being everything I needed. Moving forward, I am still in my journey and still practicing some of the coaching techniques we worked on. This experience has forever changed my life. I am so grateful for it.

  • Michelle is direct and did not just tell me what I wanted to hear, she told me what I needed to hear about my habits but she also made me feel heard and understood. Exactly what I needed to make some changes.

Michelle made me feel inspired and the excitement and passion for the work she has and the hope she gives makes you feel just as passionate and excited. I know my work looks different because of Michelle's coaching and guidance. I will be forever grateful!

  • I was looking for support entering menopause. I tried quite a few options and none of them were helpful. I almost gave up. I’m so glad I didn’t! I need someone that will listen and help me to flesh out strategies that will be effective for reaching my goal. Michelle Duprey is the one! her ability to really listen to my concerns and communicate effective strategies that fit me as a person is exceptional! I received the support that I was searching for and much more!

  • I had heard about Reiki but didn’t know what to expect. As Michelle worked on me I was 100% relaxed. Almost in a meditative state. Her findings were in line with some of the things I was struggling with. Definitely will book more visits.
